CoinEx Smart Chain Development Progress: Rust API Has Been Open Sourced
After releasing the Roadmap for 2020 in this January, the CoinEx Chain lab today announced their latest development progress.
Now, the lab is mainly focusing on developing the Smart Chain, which is still based on Tendermint consensus protocol and Cosmos-SDK. It supports high-level programming languages such as Rust and C/C++ by the underlying WebAssembly technique. At present, the Rust API for contract developers has been open sourced, and the Cosmos SDK contract module is under development, which will also be open sourced in the near future.
After the Smart Chain is officially launched, it will complete the CoinEx Chain ecosystem and provide a complete smart contract solution for the Cosmos SDK ecosystem. Integrated with smart contract functions, it will achieve the goal of programmable currency and support complex financial applications such as Defi.
CoinEx Chain is the world’s first DEX public chain based on the Tendermint consensus protocol and Cosmos SDK, and its mainnet was officially launched in November 2019.
